Summer has finally arrived – maybe? Well, even if the weather can’t make up its mind, at least we’ve managed to make up our minds and set a date for a Summer meetup!
Mark your calendars for a visit to the Finger Lakes on July 30th! We’re hoping that moving a bit south of the I-90 corridor will give some members in the Southern Tier and Central NY a chance to join in the fun.
Our Finger Lakes meetup will be held at Publick Coffee in Penn Yan, at the top of Keuka Lake. In addition to our usual table time, we can take a stroll just down Main Streeet to Long’s Cards & Books, an old-school office-supply and book store that’s got a pretty decent selection of art supplies and refills, pens from Lamy and Parker, and lots more to explore.
As always, please RSVP below (make sure you’re logged in!) so that we have a head-count for planning. If you’d like to carpool, please leave a comment below, and we’ll try to put you in touch with others nearby.

Hi Donna,
Glad you’ll be able to make it! Look forward to meeting you in person.

Hey, guys, I forgot to add that I would be interested in car pooling if possible. See you on the 30th.

So glad this will be in PY. Top of the Lake is a good restaurant with great views of Keuka Lake. Plenty of room for a meeting and reasonable prices. Long’s is one of my favorite stores of all time, one of the reasons I moved to PY. That and my best friend of 50 years lives here.
Yippee!

I hope it is not too late to finally commit to coming to the meet-up tomorrow in Penn Yan. It’s just far enough away from me that I didn’t want to drive both there and back in one day.
Obviously, I’m a complete newb, so I hope someone will be so kind and to tell me if there is anything special I should bring. Besides pens, I plan to bring some ink to share. What kind of paper should I bring? Anything else?
Thanks.

Not too late, come on down! Feel free to bring pens, ink, paper, whatever you’re stoked about and want to show off. Try to keep it to a briefcase size or so, as there isn’t a lot of room in the venue for more than that. (Can always keep stuff in the car of course). See you tomorrow!
